A creative and results-driven executive with a strong track record developing, driving, and managing leadership teams at some of the region's top organisations. A collaborative leader with over 25 years of international experience spanning EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, he started his career at Young & Rubicam — one of the world's largest ad agencies — working on global brands such as Citibank, Colgate-Palmolive, Apple, and Lufthansa. Gilbert was also a founding executive member of the IAA Associates (UAE) Chapter, elected President by a cohort of his peers, helping to establish this important body in the Gulf.
He was later recruited by Novartis to head the regional marketing team, and was promoted to head the consumer division for EMEA as the company's youngest general manager. Gilbert was elevated to the Global Executive Committee in charge of building a consumer-centric marketing culture, and was part of the executive team that implemented a group-wide programme that helped proliferate playbooks that became key drivers of efficient, customer-focused value-added marketing.
Gilbert went on to build two marketing services businesses, one of which he sold to a group of Gulf-based investors. Throughout his career, he has led group sessions and retreats comprised of high-performance teams at some of the world's leading MNCs across the globe, and has helped multi-functional teams and leaders of ambitious organisations deliver on their objectives in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Gilbert has helped companies across industries innovate and grow, improve customer-centric services, build brands, and enhance staff performance. He draws upon a combination of stewardship and global cross-cultural experience to bring a rare and valuable perspective to people in leadership roles.
Carmen is a global Human Resources executive and certified executive coach with over 20 years of experience leading people and culture strategies across the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. She has held senior HR leadership roles at leading global banks, investment firms, and advisory businesses including as Head of Human Resources for MENA at Credit Suisse and Group Head of HR for a multi-jurisdictional asset management group. Her work has consistently focused on building strategic HR infrastructures that enable business growth, organisational resilience, and leadership effectiveness in complex, highly regulated environments.
Throughout her career, Carmen has developed deep expertise in HR strategy and policy, compensation and benefits, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and the ethical use of AI in the future of work. She has designed and executed people strategies across 10+ jurisdictions, managed multi-million-dollar incentive schemes, and built frameworks that align talent development with business transformation. In addition to her corporate roles, Carmen has been instrumental in creating learning and development platforms, authoring inclusion strategies, and guiding executive teams through cultural and organisational change.
As an ICF-certified executive coach fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Carmen partners with leaders and boards to shape authentic leadership, strengthen decision-making, and embed inclusive, high-performance cultures.
